I didn't need to use a drain, and there was swelling, but aside from yellow bruising, I didn't get any red or blue bruises at all. They made small incisions under the ears and under the chin, so wound care is important. But I showered with a waterproof bandage on, and water inevitably touched it. Still, there is almost no scar.
