The consultation expertise was high and the doctor was kind, but after my first double eyelid surgery I developed lagophthalmos. When I close my eyes, the line looks like it was punched in by a stapler, so I can't close my eyes in front of other people. I had the surgery because my ptosis was severe, but the end part where the double eyelid line drops ends up sticking right to the back of my original eye line, so in a different sense I'm using my forehead muscles to open my eyes and getting by. I also had an epicanthoplasty, but now my eyes look even farther apart than before I had double eyelid surgery, so I'm regretting it...
