I had surgery with Dr. Kim Hyun-su when he was at Deluxe Plastic Surgery, but about a month later I got a text saying he had opened his own clinic and moved there. I had upper canthoplasty + lower outer canthoplasty. I had already had double eyelid surgery done unevenly at another hospital, and I’d also had epicanthoplasty before, so I took that into account when I had the surgery. The upper canthoplasty turned out beautifully, but it feels like the previous epicanthoplasty from another hospital came undone, or maybe the epicanthic fold came back. The lower outer canthoplasty looked refreshing and pretty at first, but my eyes are the type that naturally draw together, so they gradually came back together... I’m not fully satisfied, but I figure that’s because of my original condition. A friend who followed my lead had revision double eyelid surgery with Dr. Kim Hyun-su, and her symmetry + line were so pretty that people around her praised it.. I ended up blaming my own eyes.. sob sob. The doctor really had a great personality, and I think he’s even better at surgery now! I want to have double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty with him again.
