I once had a consultation for eye surgery through an introduction from someone I knew. I am not sure if it was really through that person's introduction, but they explained the surgery in quite a lot of detail, which made many of my fantasies and prejudices about double-eyelid surgery disappear. Of course I did not get surgery there, but the fact that they would do it again if the patient was not satisfied with the result was quite reassuring.
