It’s a one-doctor clinic and I went there by recommendation from someone I know. There was a 5,000 won consultation fee. I went in for a double-eyelid consultation and was recommended partial incision, fat removal, canthoplasty, and eye correction. And not just the surgery I wanted, but also conjunctival fat repositioning and facial fat grafting. I was a bit flustered that they quoted me for my entire face even though I didn’t want that. Then after that I went to 10 other hospitals, but this was the only place that told me to do canthoplasty... Later I heard from a friend that the director was very confident in canthoplasty. So it felt like he was recommending it because he’s good at it;; They also recommended eye correction even though I don’t need it, so there were a lot of reasons for me to hesitate and I just passed.
