Among the clinics I visited for facial contouring consultations, this was by far the worst. They charged a consultation fee of 30,000 won, but instead of consulting based on my face, the director only talked about the cortical osteotomy she likes—the procedure that also appears on YouTube. I went because I heard cortical osteotomy is necessary for a frontal effect and that they are good at it, but she just repeated what she promotes on YouTube. Even that consultation was noticeably shorter than at other clinics. They perform cortical osteotomy and, unlike other clinics, also operate around the mandibular angles. I have wisdom teeth on both sides, so I was told I would need to have them removed if they could cause a problem. I think they said that if the wisdom teeth were removed during plastic surgery, it would not be covered by insurance? Anyway, it was 1 million won per wisdom tooth, 2 million for both. With mandibular shaving at 7 million won, the total was 9 million won. So I asked whether I could have them removed at a dental clinic instead, and they said I could, but then I would have to wait about six months before surgery. I gave up on this clinic easily. I just wasted the consultation fee and excluded it from my candidates.
