My eyes are ruined. It’s already been 9 years since the surgery. The doctor wasn’t friendly at all, just said what he wanted to say and I couldn’t say a single word. It was close by and they said it was one of the better places in Cheonan, so I went. The doctor kind of casually made a double eyelid shape during the consultation. Back then I didn’t really know anything about lines and such. They said revision was possible and that it would probably just need eye correction and incisional surgery. I got excited and booked the surgery right after the first consultation. On the way home after surgery, I looked at my eyes and was so satisfied. My swelling tends to go down well, so it kept going down and even though they were sausage-like, they were so pretty. But after 3 months, I realized the lines were different. The left eye was semi-out and the right eye was in-out lol⫬⫬⫬⫬ But as the swelling went down, the right eye opened up completely. There are people whose incisional surgery also comes undone, so I didn’t panic and went back for a revision. It seems they did it by buried sutures. Then a few months later, the right side came undone again⫬⫬ I was really furious, so I went back again and had it redone. I’m not sure if they did buried sutures again or partial incision this time, but anyway I had it done again. Then I lived with it for a while, and maybe 3 or 4 years later I was having a rough time and cried a lot, then looked in the mirror and the front part of the double eyelid had come undone again. At that point I wondered whether my eyes were the problem or what they did during surgery. I got angry. In the end I found another hospital. I had only one side redone, and I’ve had one side fixed 4 times already⫬⫬ But because only one side was redone, they became uneven, and I’m thinking about revision surgery now and looking for a hospital in Seoul. Even writing this makes me angry. The funny thing is the left side is still holding up fine.
