First, after the consultation, they take photos. Then they show you on ultrasound and say, "This is the muscle inside your jaw. The injection is going in now." And then they give the injection. It was my first time getting jaw Botox, and after the first injection my cheeks looked like I was holding candy in my mouth, so I went back for a second round and got another shot. The surgeon and the staff were kind, but I did not feel much effect.. Still, because they inject the medicine into the exact area while looking at it directly on ultrasound, it felt much safer and more trustworthy!
