Without taking a CT scan, they inferred the size of my septum, and that part felt kind of “huh?” to me. At another hospital, when I had a 3D CT scan, they said my septum was large enough and sufficient, but here they recommended donor rib cartilage or autologous rib cartilage. They also said I would need 4 mm of silicone, but I had clearly said I wanted something natural, so I felt put off by the idea of using 4 mm when I already had a fairly high bridge to begin with.. Still, they were realistic in telling me how far they could go with my nose.. But I really did not understand inferring the septum size without a CT scan. The consultation manager was very kind, and the doctor was very introverted and quiet..
