And in my case, I needed to watch the immediate recovery for a few days, but since I live in the countryside, I stayed for a few days at a hotel nearby that the hospital arranged. Because it’s hard to move right after surgery, the doctor personally drove me to the hotel, and in the morning when he was commuting to work, he picked me up and the person who had surgery on the same day as me from that same hotel and drove us both back to the hospital. I was so moved. Even after work in the evening, he called to check how I was, worried I might be enduring pain or have a problem at the hotel, and said if I had pain in the middle of the night and called, he and his wife would come right away, so to call him.. I wondered if plastic surgery clinics normally care this much. And not only the doctor but the medical staff were incredibly kind too When I was staying at the hotel right after surgery, they packed snacks and porridge and all sorts of things for me, and every time I went in for follow-up they greeted me kindly and packed ointment and bandages and anything I needed without asking. Honestly, compared with flashy hospitals, this place makes you wonder at first if it’s really a plastic surgery clinic, but now when I go there it just feels warm, and the faint sound of hymns is comforting.
