Among the five places I consulted, this was the only one that said I had to use a custom implant. Base price 2.7 million, custom implant 800,000, donated rib cartilage 1 million, total 4.5 million. At the other places, they said I didn't need functional nose surgery unless my rhinitis was really bothering me, but here they said it would be good to do functional nose surgery together. I was already hesitant about the custom implant and didn't really think functional nose surgery was necessary, but the director kept pushing it in a way that was almost pressure. If I didn't do the custom implant, it would be 3.7 million, but even then they said they would only be able to give a quote and I would have to have the money ready, so they kept checking my schedule and asking when would be good. There was also a separate 10,000 won consultation fee, so I felt this wasn't the place for me. When I asked questions, the doctor explained things well and made the consultation comfortable, which was fine. Especially since this was my first nose surgery, I was really worried about contracture, but they said if there was enough space and things were okay, contracture wouldn't happen, so I felt a little relieved.
