I think the surgical skill was good. But I think the aesthetic sense was lacking. My younger brother had surgery here and it turned out well, so I had mine done too. But after the surgery my face changed so much that six months later I went to Seoul to get my inner canthus revised, and my eye shape also became a little triangular, especially the front part. I agonized over it and eventually had my double eyelid surgery redone just recently, after waiting a year. Of course, every clinic I went to said the surgery wasn’t botched and that my eyes weren’t bad, and I thought so too, but what does that matter? They couldn’t make it exactly how I wanted. Whether it was communication, aesthetic sense, or trend awareness, I think one of those was lacking. During surgery, they also left the instruments roughly on my chest and picking them up felt so tense and scary maybe that’s just because I’m a scaredy-cat.
