Cut or no-cut option available -> No-cut eye correction, double eyelid, epicanthoplasty (loosening Mongolian folds) / outer canthoplasty and under-eye canthoplasty not recommended At other hospitals, opinions were split between saying I had to do the cut method and saying no-cut was also possible. Director Kim Hyun-soo recommended the no-cut method, and when I asked why, he said cut is always the correct answer, but for my eyes, no-cut could be 90 points and cut could be 95 points, so considering cost-effectiveness and everything else, no-cut would be better. I said I was worried because the outer corners of my eyes are upturned and I was afraid it might make me look like I have white under the iris showing too much, and he said if I chose the outer/lower canthoplasty, from the hospital's perspective it would just make more money, so they would say yes, but he thought it would be better not to do it. Instead, he explained that it is his own surgical style and that if he does epicanthoplasty (loosening the Mongolian folds), the front part of the eyes can lift a bit and the upturned-corner look might be less noticeable.
