I looked into thread lifting to improve my face even a little, and I chose Ringke Plastic Surgery because there were relatively many reviews, even though it was an event on the platform, and because the clinic has a board-certified plastic surgeon. Of course a facelift would be more effective, but I wanted to improve things by placing a lot of threads. Director Lee Jae-hyeon explained things for quite a long time, said a facelift is effective and that while thread lifting is not as good as a facelift, it is still a good procedure, and showed confidence by saying he does all procedures that pull. I also thought that even if it wasn't a facelift, 16 threads should still bring some improvement, and since I had a wedding coming up, I had it done under same-day sedation anesthesia to get it over with quickly. About three months later, the effect is zero. I also got chin filler after the surgery, and the chin filler actually seems to be what worked better. I am a person with excellent powers of observation, and there has been no effect at all, meaning no improvement whatsoever. At the follow-up, I told the surgeon honestly and he understood that part. Including 4 cc of domestic filler, the cost came to 2 million won, but it's like I threw the money on the ground and got absolutely no benefit. I won't make a formal issue of it, but I think a hospital and surgeon with zero effect should receive a cold, hard evaluation. Results and satisfaction can vary from person to person, of course, but when someone is considering thread lifting and getting a procedure, I think there should be at least some improvement, even just 5%. If a pulling procedure has no effect, then there is clearly a problem. Saying it's just individual differences in skin quality is an excuse, and because the current situation is bad, people do thread lifting hoping for at least a little improvement. Please choose the hospital and surgeon carefully, and I wrote this review in the hope that even if you are considering thread lifting, you won't look at it with overly generous eyes. As a consumer, judge and choose coldly, and I hope you get a result that improves your current state, even if it's not 100%. Also, I don't expect overly excessive friendliness in service, but it was disappointing that the manager didn't even say goodbye when I left after surgery. Of course, I understand if they were busy with another consultation. Still, that part was disappointing. They recommended extra filler and even added 1 cc more than the planned amount during the procedure, but based on my experience with fillers many times, the price they quoted for the domestic filler is objectively very inflated.. I still trusted them and went ahead, but overall it was a very disappointing procedure. Please choose your hospital carefully and don't make the same unwise choice I did after seeing event reviews. (A marketing strategy where you get free wrinkle shots etc. if you upload photos) The thread lifting price was 77,000 won per thread including VAT, but at first the manager recommended the cheapest grade of domestic filler and quoted about 500,000 won for 3 cc. When I asked how much Cheum would be, they quoted almost double, and when I hesitated, they said they would just do it with Cheum for 500,000 won. I still trusted the doctor and did it, but the result is not good. Even allowing for some sales tactics, the filler pricing should change a bit when it comes to things outside the core procedure.
