I had him look at my face from various angles, hold my forehead with his hand, and open and close my eyes several times. He explained in detail why my current double eyelid crease isn’t forming properly. A two-line method, eye correction, epicanthoplasty, and a small amount of excision. Because the existing scar is high, he said I’d need the two-line method, and since they would be releasing adhesions and breaking up the muscle, eye correction would be necessary. When I said I wanted to minimize surgery and asked what would happen if I didn’t do epicanthoplasty, he said the inner part could be slightly covered and it wouldn’t come out like the line they had just formed, so he recommended doing the epicanthoplasty too.
