I went to get the skin Botox treatment advertised in the app. I thought it would be better to have the injection done by a dermatologist, so I went, but I need to think carefully about whether I’d visit again. First of all, the service is way behind the factory-style dermatology clinics where general doctors do the procedures... I got treated on the 3rd floor, and instead of washing up in a powder room like at those factory-style places, I had to wash my face in what was basically a bathroom. And after washing up, when they put on the numbing cream while I was lying on the bed, a staff member came over from the front desk after casually looking at her phone, didn’t wash her hands, and just smeared it on and left. After the numbness, when it was time for the procedure, I thought I might at least have a word with the director, but they just said, ‘We’re starting,’ finished in under 5 minutes, and went off to the next procedure. After it was over, instead of a modeling pack, they just slapped on a sheet mask and left, and the nose and between-the-eyebrow area were both peeling up so I just fixed it myself while looking in the mirror. I’ll have to see the treatment effect, but I’d recommend going only if you think of it as a place where the staff don’t really do anything and you’re just there for the procedure.
