I had a buried double-eyelid surgery at another hospital 5 years ago, but my left eye loosened, so I went in for a revision consultation. It was really hard to get the appointment. They must do a lot of procedures and surgeries. The doctor was cheerful and lively, very friendly. He said the reason the buried suture loosened was that the left eye’s epicanthal fold was more severe. Because of that, he recommended adding an epicanthoplasty too. I had previously had an in-line double eyelid, so it was very natural, but I said I wanted the front part to look more open, so while doing the epicanthoplasty he recommended an out-line.
