The staff asked what kind of eyes I wanted, so I brought photos, but the doctor said that wasn’t the issue, so I was taken aback. Then why did they ask me to bring photos of the look I wanted? I felt unfairly annoyed for 3 seconds. They showed me before-and-after photos of other people who had eyes similar to mine, and I was scared my own photos would end up looking like that later. Still, they explained things professionally and emphasized that there would be no scarring from epicanthoplasty. Looking at the before-and-after photos, the results were amazing, so I felt envious.
