I had incision double-eyelid surgery five years ago. The crease looked fine during the year it took for the swelling to completely go down, but after that it gradually became uneven. Now, on one eye, the crease has settled into a triangle shape, as if it were bent. LMAO People around me sometimes ask why the double-eyelid crease on one eye is triangular, and it drives me crazy. But the bigger problem was my nose. I wanted a high, glamorous nose tip, but the doctor suggested placing silicone only on the bridge and performing cartilage repositioning at the tip instead of using another material. (Apparently this clinic generally does not use cartilage-like materials at the tip and strongly pursues natural results.) It is true that the doctor and I had completely opposite aesthetic preferences. However, both the doctor and the consultation manager persuaded me, saying that the bridge would be high enough with only bridge augmentation and cartilage repositioning. After the consultation, I decided on surgery with 4 mm silicone and tip cartilage repositioning. After surgery, they used tape and placed cotton under my nose, without a splint or cotton on the bridge. From that point, my bridge already seemed abnormal. Even before the tape was removed, I could see that the area between my eyebrows was extremely high. Since they had barely touched the tip, my nose became a straight line from my forehead to the tip. A few days later, they removed the cotton placed under my nose, and my nostrils were uneven. When I asked about it while having the stitches removed, they said it was just swelling and would be fine. But the bigger problem than the nostrils was that they removed the tape on the stitch-removal day too, and, just as I had expected immediately after surgery, my forehead and nose tip really were in a straight line. At first I watched it because it might have been swelling, but even after one month and two months, there was no sign of the bridge getting lower. Then I realized it was not swelling at all. When I touched the bridge, it was completely hard, like a rock. It was not swelling; I could simply feel the hard silicone. Once I realized that my nose might become slimmer but would not become lower, every day became unbearably difficult. I stared at the mirror every day and cried at home all day. I was in high school at the time and could barely go to school for almost two months. I really wanted to die. It was when I understood why some people commit suicide after a bad plastic-surgery result. My bridge had become unnaturally high, and, on top of that, my eyes looked extremely close together, so my whole impression had changed. After the surgery, I could not meet anyone at all. The first time I met a friend, they tried not to show it and told me the surgery seemed okay, but the forced consolation was so obvious in their expression and tone that I came home in tears after initially meeting them in a good mood. This is only my suspicion, but I do not think the silicone inserted into my nose was 4 mm. I knew someone around me who had silicone of the same height, and I searched extensively on social media for people who had also received 4 mm, but absolutely nobody looked as bizarrely high and awkward as I did. It is not as though I originally had a prominent bridge, either. From this point on, the consultation manager’s kindness and attitude completely fell apart. I felt I could not live like this and asked whether only the silicone could be removed. The answer was very firm: no, I had to wait six months. I understand that there could be safety concerns, but when I had previously texted the manager asking whether my bridge was too high and my eyes too close together because of swelling, the only reply was: “Yes.” They were extremely kind during the surgical consultation, then acted as if they did not know me afterward. The doctor had also seemed somewhat blunt from the beginning, so I did not have a great impression, but seeing the manager’s attitude change made me feel that this was really unacceptable. In the end, I gave up on having the silicone removed at this clinic. After hearing that surgery was possible elsewhere, I made an appointment the very next day and had surgery the day after that. The silicone was removed successfully, but my nostrils are still uneven.^^ Even now, I think choosing this clinic was the biggest mistake of my life. I suffered terribly mentally. As I mentioned above, I also had my double eyelids done here and they became uneven, so I now need another revision, but I developed such severe trauma from plastic surgery that I only keep researching clinics and cannot even go for a consultation. Later, I happened to meet the friend I had seen after my nose surgery again after the silicone removal. Only then did they tell me that, honestly, they had thought I looked completely botched at the time and that I looked like the people with failed plastic surgery they saw online. I am not saying that nobody should ever go to this clinic. The facilities are fine, they play gentle music in the operating room to create a comfortable environment, and they never pressure you into unnecessary procedures. They also do not pressure people to write reviews, and the prices are fairly reasonable. If your aesthetic preferences match the doctor’s, I think the result could turn out naturally and well. However, you should know that the consultation manager’s attitude may change after surgery, regardless of the outcome. I am writing this in case someone like me experiences the same thing, so it may be of some small help. I had a really difficult time. Please think very carefully before having nose surgery at this clinic. I did join this community to look for a clinic for double-eyelid revision, but I also really wanted to write this review, so I worked hard to gain posting privileges and finally wrote it.
