I had developed sausage-like eyelids after double-eyelid surgery. I thought revision surgery required choosing a clinic carefully, so I made a list only of clinics where acquaintances had surgery with good results and visited them all. After the consultation, my impression was that the doctor was cynical but did not try to push surgery at all. The doctor said my sausage eyes were indeed caused by the previous surgery and promised to lower the crease as much as possible despite my difficult eyes. They did not recommend any other procedures, such as canthoplasty. The doctor’s experience was evident during the consultation, and they spoke frankly about the facts. I felt this might divide opinions, but I actually liked that aspect because it was clear. They said they would check once more whether additional correction was needed when removing the stitches after surgery, which I also liked. I heard the doctor has perfectionist tendencies about the crease itself. The waiting time and aftercare concern me a little, but since it is a famous clinic that many acquaintances have used, I think I will have to accept that to some extent.
