I had nose surgery + alar reduction together. The conclusion is that it was ruined. The nose surgery itself is fine functionally. But I didn’t have a functional problem to begin with, and I did it to become prettier, so there was no aesthetic improvement. I learned that what people mean when they say The Plus is good at nose surgery is not that they make it pretty, but just that they don’t ruin people’s noses. The alar reduction done together was completely ruined. On the day of surgery, right before the procedure, a doctor I had never seen before said he was going to join in, and I had a bad feeling. After the surgery, I was looking around at Artbox in front of the hospital, and then I looked in the mirror and almost had a panic attack. I still remember that tabletop mirror. It looked like they had played a prank on me, with the alar bases severely asymmetrical. Even the incision location and the length of the sutured parts were completely different. It’s not like this was some experiment. I even started suspecting that the doctor who joined in must have done that side, which is why it came out asymmetrical. I kept telling myself it would be fine, it would be fine... but no matter how much I comforted myself, it didn’t get better. Even after all the swelling went down, it was still severely asymmetrical. He admitted it himself and said he would do a revision to widen the alar area. I already knew. After consulting several reconstructive hospitals about this problem, I found out that the alar base cannot be reconstructed. Still, I trusted them and did the revision. There was no change, and only the scar got darker and more pronounced. And that wasn’t the end. For some reason, the side that had the alar reconstruction made the nose blocked all day, with a terrible runny nose and sneezing, and it was hard to bear. The next day, when I blew my nose hard, the gauze that had been tightly blocking my nose came out... yes... they had forgotten to remove the gauze they had put in during surgery^^ They admitted it themselves, but there was no apology. Thankfully, I later had a nose revision at a good hospital and it looks pretty now, but the alar bases are still bizarrely asymmetrical. At this point, I even thought maybe I should just get double jaw surgery and widen the alar bases... Every time I go to Sinsa Station, I feel bad because of the trauma. Because of this hospital and this doctor, I hate Sinsa Station itself. You are living happily, aren’t you~ Please do not experiment on patients’ noses. For a woman in her 20s, appearance matters so much.
