I went in for double-eyelid revision surgery. My eyes had already been stitched once, and it feels like the surgery here was more than 10 years ago. When I asked about a chin implant during the consultation, I said no because I hadn’t been thinking about it, but on the day of surgery the doctor recommended it again, and before I knew it I ended up doing the double-eyelid surgery and chin implant together that same day. They didn’t even explain the intraoral incision... I was shocked after the surgery... My chin looks exactly the same before and after. Why did I even do it? While they were explaining the surgical method to another doctor during the operation, I was lying there wondering what on earth was going on. My eye scar tissue is still there. I’m now looking around for a second revision, but everywhere I go they say it looks like I had surgery not long ago, and it pisses me off.... I remember them pushing me to do all sorts of things.
