I had revision nose surgery in 2015. For the first surgery, Gore-Tex was used and both ear cartilage and septal cartilage were used, so for the revision surgery I did it with donated rib cartilage and silicone. The doctor was kind and gave a good consultation, and listened well to the parts I wasn’t happy with. I also had a scar on the nasal incision area, but it disappeared after the revision surgery, which was really nice, and it was much more natural than the first surgery, so I was satisfied. They also took care of me well afterward, so I was able to get laser treatment to help the swelling go down. It has been 10 years now and I still have no side effects. But maybe because the autologous costal cartilage was absorbed, the nose design feels a bit different from what it was right after surgery.. I don’t think this is the doctor’s or clinic’s fault. The cost was also reasonable, so even though it was revision surgery, it wasn’t a burden.
