I made an appointment to consult with Director Kim Hak-su and visited, and since the surgery hadn't finished yet, I first consulted with the consultation manager. Before the consultation, I tied my hair up, put on a headband, and had my face photographed from the front, 45 degrees, 90 degrees, and so on with a camera. The consultation manager explained why I needed a drain bag and why there had to be five incision sites. He seemed to be very proud of the director. When I said I had also booked consultations at a few other places, he asked why I had booked so many lol He said the famous places were basically only a few anyway... lol That was funny. While I was talking with the manager, the director came in and the consultation started. He said I use my glabella muscles a lot in daily life, and that my eyelashes touch my eyelids, which makes me use my eyebrows even more. He said because my eyebrows keep drooping downward, the eyebrow muscles naturally move upward to try to open my eyes wider. So my forehead looks more sunken, and if I have surgery, I won't use those muscles anymore, so it would create a plumper-looking effect. He explained while holding a handheld mirror and lifting my eyebrows. He said that after surgery my eyebrows would feel like they had moved up about 3 mm from their original position. I asked whether eyebrow asymmetry could also be corrected, and he said that my left cheekbone is currently smaller than the right one, and that the resulting compensation had caused the eyebrow asymmetry (the left eyebrow arch is a bit higher); when my eyes are closed, the eyebrow positions are actually symmetrical. So if he were to raise them differently just to match the symmetry, my facial asymmetry would look even worse, so he would lift them the same. I asked whether pulling upward could cause my existing double eyelid crease to loosen, and he said no. He said the existing inner corner surgery would actually make it look more like an upper corner surgery. The hidden double eyelid would show more. He said it wouldn't make much difference for smiling eyes either. Even if I lose weight later, there is almost no fat in the forehead area anyway, so it wouldn't droop or change because it's attached to the periosteum, haha... thankfully. I asked whether my forehead would get much wider or whether my midface would look longer, and he said the difference would be about those 3 mm of eyebrow lift, like the hairline would just be pushed back by that much. He said it wouldn't get extremely long or ruin the proportions, and because I already use my eyebrows to open my eyes and move them, other people might not notice much difference after surgery. A difference only I would know lol He said my photos for my ID photo and my selfies would have looked different, because in an ID photo I can't move my eyebrows however I want, so my eyes would come out differently than in selfies. He noticed that my selfies looked fresher. (Because in selfies I can open my eyes as wide as I want.) I thought that was amazing ㄷㄷㄷ I asked whether my glabella could become higher, and he said it wouldn't actually become higher; rather, the bulging glabella muscle would go down, so it would look relatively higher. He said the actual bridge of the nose wouldn't get higher. I asked whether using the glabella muscles would mean I would need Botox later, and he said probably not; if some patients need it, they inject Botox. He said we can monitor the progress and decide, and then mentioned something about younger patients and so on, but I don't really remember that part It was right after he finished surgery and then came in for the consultation, so he must have been busy and overwhelmed, but he still answered everything kindly and didn't seem bothered, which I liked. Because he answered with such confidence, I trusted him. This was my first consultation, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I could feel confidence and professionalism from the attitude and atmosphere. The surgery fee is 3.85 million won. That's the regular price. The reservation deposit is 400,000 won and it is non-refundable. They said they can't just randomly schedule a bunch of surgeries, so as a matter of policy there was no choice. So they said to think carefully and then set the surgery date.
