I got lip corner surgery on impulse. It was also the cheapest place. The problem was that the effect was minimal and I ended up with a scar... So when I brought that up, the consultant kept insisting that wasn’t the case. They did give me scar-tissue injections, but the scar is still there, and even though the surgery was done under local anesthesia, surprisingly the director kept coming and going while a resident? I’m not sure who exactly, but that person was there observing, controlling the bleeding, and doing the suturing together. I don’t know about other surgeries, but even for local anesthesia, someone else was joining the surgery and going back and forth, so I wonder what it would be like with sedation anesthesia.
