When I first started looking into surgery 8 years ago, I didn’t really know much about it and went in thinking eyelids are all the same. Because I have severe sunken eyes, even at the maximum I could only get an in-line shape, which would be the best for me. But what I wanted was an in-out line, so I showed photos and said I wanted it like this. They said yes, we’ll do it that way. When I asked, would this line suit my eyes? They said yes, if it’s done appropriately it will suit you well. That was the end of the consultation. They didn’t even try to mark a line. I realized you can get a much more detailed eye consultation at another hospital.
