I had buried double-eyelid surgery in 2018 because I had a slight double eyelid on one side and the other side would appear and disappear. The doctor was male, somewhat young, and not extremely friendly in consultation. He compared my eyes with photos where I had used adhesive for double eyelids or used correction strips, gave me the quote on the same day, and performed the surgery the same day. ++I woke up in the middle of the surgery. It was sedation anesthesia, but I woke up during the procedure and moved, so the doctor looked flustered and pissed off lol. Then the nurse hurriedly told me, 'We’re doing surgery,' and they put in more medicine, so I guess I calmed down. Looking back, they say it was because there was no dedicated anesthesiologist... Since it was buried sutures and I'm satisfied with the result, I'm glad, but waking up and moving in the middle could have been a disaster.. If I'm tired now, it feels like it might loosen and become multiple layers, but since it's buried sutures I accept that and I'm satisfied because it looks natural.
