My eyes are already pretty, so I'm satisfied and living with them, but I wanted to correct a little asymmetry, so I went for a consultation. When I consulted other hospitals, they recommended epicanthoplasty (my eyes are already clearly open, so why bother..?), canthoplasty (this too, why..?), and an incision, so I looked up reviews and it turned out to be a hospital that recommends canthoplasty as a default for everyone who comes in. Here, the doctor is really honest and seems like the kind who only does the surgeries that are actually needed. He says flat out that eyes that can be done can be done, and eyes that can't can't. To the friend who came with me for the consultation, he said she had a perfectly good eye that didn't need surgery and that the concern she wanted improved couldn't actually be fixed, and sent her back. Unlike other hospitals blinded by money, this place is honest. For me, they only recommended something like non-incisional ptosis correction and didn't bring up anything else. They drew the line exactly how I wanted. I'm thinking about whether to have surgery, so this is a hospital I've definitely put on my list.
