As it was a 7 mm canthoplasty as the name suggests, they said they would open it up very clearly. What I was really grateful for and liked during the consultation was how honestly they explained the things that can happen after surgery. I thought the D-shape would be random, but they said it would definitely appear, and that the extent of the D-shape or the visible red flesh would be unpredictable whether the eyes were protruding or sunken. Looking at the surgical method, they could definitely open it wider, but my eyes aren't that small, so I gave up.
