It seems the removal went well~~ I had cartilage repositioning and cartilage suturing done. When I first went for consultation, I wasn’t sure, but after looking into it for 2 to 3 months, I ended up deciding because I was drawn to the doctor’s style. He is someone who is extremely meticulous by nature. When I had an online consultation, he answered every single question, and the day after surgery when I came in for aftercare, he handled it all himself. I could just feel the delicate touch. Even before the nose surgery, he actually put his fingers inside my nose and mouth to check for any foreign-body sensation and other things~~ Usually they just look with instruments... but he touched everything directlyㅎㅎ Right now I’m still swollen, so I need to keep watching the shape, but he removed all the tiny grain-like pieces of costal cartilage... I also asked before surgery to remove as much scar tissue as possible, but some remains~ I guess I have to accept that some parts can’t be made completely gone. And he removed the costal cartilage fragments by a non-open method. That was also a big reason I chose it: the non-open approach~~ The nostrils were incised inside the mouth. It’s the third day after surgery and it doesn’t hurt at all~ㅎㅎ I think the doctor is really skilled.
