I went there after a recommendation from an acquaintance, and it seemed like a hospital that pursues a natural look. The director said that when you close your eyes, they make it flat so you don't get a sunken scar, and in fact there are quite a few people whose fold loosens and who get it pinched again a few years later. That part is good, but at the consultation in January, they were the only one of five places to say I absolutely had to get ptosis correction. But looking at other people's consultation reviews, it doesn't seem like they were singling me out. At other hospitals they said my eyes were already sufficiently corrected, or that because the distance between my eyes and eyebrows was close, I didn't need ptosis correction. Please keep that in mind. And they said they don't do epicanthoplasty revision. My eyes are uneven, so one side needs revision, but they told me to either do it at another hospital or not do it at all. The consultation manager wasn't exactly rude, but I could feel that they wanted to get me out quickly. Usually the consultation manager will start a friendly conversation or explain things first, but here they kept that attitude of "Do you have anything else you'd like to ask?" the whole time. Maybe because I went alone without a guardian... Still, I'm thinking about surgery a bit, because the director was the one who empathized most with the fact that it's hard for me to open my eyes because of sausage eyes.
