But after getting X-rays and a CT, Director Lee Jinsu and the dental director looked at me together and explained that, given my current condition, protruding-mouth surgery would be more appropriate than double-jaw surgery. After hearing that, I changed directions right away. I also needed orthodontic treatment, but the dental clinic is inside the hospital, which is convenient. There’s no need to move to a separate building or travel around, and because the surgery hospital and the dental department work well together, I could get seen at the same time when I visited, which saved time. I heard they’ve also been working together in collaboration for quite a long time. After the surgery, I’m very satisfied with the results. The distance was okay too, and more than anything, the outcome was good, so I feel happy.
