An acquaintance had a legendary double-eyelid surgery success here, so I visited. The consultation process started with the coordinator and then the doctor. The coordinator felt a bit lacking in expertise. The director was very clear and sharp in pointing things out. When I went for double-eyelid consultations at other hospitals, they said that if I did an incisional method I could get exactly what I wanted~~~ but this doctor here flatly said that simple buried-suture methods were absolutely impossible and that if I had surgery, there was a 100% chance I might need revision surgery. It felt like he was basically discouraging double-eyelid surgery itself. In the end I did not listen and got incisional eye surgery at another hospital, and now, 2 years later, I am looking into revision surgery.... Sigh, I do not really understand why this hospital's rating is so low. From my consultation, I could see why word of mouth had quietly spread about it. I should have listened to the doctor.... sigh
