I went to get consultations for my first double eyelid surgery. The director seemed to prefer natural adhesion. Since it was my first surgery, he said that even if it loosens later, it can be fixed again. He didn’t recommend other things like epicanthoplasty, so it felt conservative? (Maybe because it was my first surgery.) The explanation didn’t feel very detailed. He basically just answered what I asked..
