It was my first consultation for revision rhinoplasty. Unlike the consultation reviews, the doctor came in person, touched and pressed on my nose, and checked the condition directly. He told me how far the silicone extends, what my current nasal condition is like, and how it could be improved in the future. He said contracture means the capsule has to be removed, so he looked up capsule photos and showed them to me, and explained in detail what happened right after removal in people similar to me. He said that after surgery, a pig-nose shape would not be possible, but the nose would become softer, and that we should remove all the existing materials and preserve as much as possible of the ear cartilage and septal cartilage I have. He also said that if I wanted, I could try silicone once, and autologous dermis was also an option.
