I went for a revision-surgery consultation, and as many people said, the price is quite steep! I thought the consultation was worth the 10,000 won fee, and it took about an hour. I think I had three consultations in total: manager, doctor, then manager again. The doctor explained things to me in specific terms and processes, using examples that even someone like me who is a medical financial expert could understand, so I felt very reassured~ But while I felt reassured talking with the doctor, that trust seemed to drop a bit when I talked with the manager..? They showed me before-and-after photos of a patient lying on the operating table and said it was their niece. I hadn’t thought much of it, but when they suddenly said, “Oh, this photo was taken because she’s my niece~,” I started to feel like the person in the photos saved on my phone could end up being me..? And I also thought, can they really bring a phone into the operating room and take photos of a patient’s face? Anyway, it felt unsettling.
