I had surgery because I worried a lot about my bulbous nose. They used ear cartilage to lift only the columella and also reduced the nostrils. Back then, the straight-but-slightly-upturned line was in style, and they made it really nicely according to that trend. During the healing process, a stitch came out inside my nose and I panicked, but I was too lazy to go to the hospital, so I just pushed the stitch back into my nose and left it alone, and it healed well. I had it done 6 years ago?? and I still have no contracture, and the line is still the same.
