I came in for a consultation to remove the nasal bridge silicone and the ear cartilage in the tip. The doctor was kinder than I expected and explained things in detail really well. He wrote down everything I said in the chart and then explained it. I was debating whether to remove everything or leave the tip, but this doctor said that if the silicone is removed, the nose could get pulled up, so he would leave the tip and, if needed, take ear cartilage out again and use it. That made me hesitate a bit. The anesthesia would be sleep anesthesia, and they would only partially remove the capsule through an open approach, but if full capsule removal is needed during surgery, there would be an extra 500,000 won charge.
