It’s my Nth rhinoplasty revision, so I’m so worried that I’m even considering just living with it as it is I keep thinking, “What if it goes wrong again?” right up until lying on the operating table for the revision.. Still, I wanted to look into it, so I went for a consultation I wrote down questions in advance about the surgical method, revision-service criteria and period, recommended shape, and anesthesia method. They answered every single one, so I left feeling that I had things fairly well sorted out Also, when I arrived, I was surprised that this clinic had especially many foreign patients. I wasn’t eavesdropping, but I happened to hear while writing my chart that a beautiful, model-like Caucasian woman had come all the way to Korea for philtrum reduction and revision rhinoplasty, and that she came after seeing it on Instagram and ChatGPT lol.. This is a bit beside the point, but I have severe anxiety about safety, so I’m very scared every time I lie on the operating table... The time I hate most is when I’m lying there and don’t know whether the anesthetic injection has gone in or when it will take effect.. But this clinic has a female director who is an anesthesiology specialist, so I think that part will give me confidence. That alone made me feel a little relieved.. They did reassure me not to worry, but I’ve heard so often that you have to choose a revision clinic carefully, so I still haven’t fully made up my mind. I’m going to have one more consultation and then decide. I really hope it goes well this time
