(Surgery in November 2023) At the time, I had planned to just get a consultation and have surgery if it seemed okay, so I had no comparison with other hospitals. I was always the type to have a lot of facial fat, and because my chin was small, my double chin was a concern. I was recommended double chin + jawline surgery (35 degree angle), and also buccal fat removal for 700,000 won, but I was 20 years old at the time, so I declined because of the cost and because I was worried about hollow cheeks. For 4 days after surgery, wearing a compression strap was mandatory, and for 2 to 3 weeks there was bruising and swelling. Even with the swelling, the change in my jawline was clearly visible. I had bio-bond, but I remember it disappearing after about 2 or 3 months. The injection marks and scars also disappear over time. My weight stayed the same for about a year after surgery, and it definitely worked. After a year, I gained about 10 kg. Still, I wonder if I would have gotten a double chin if I had had the surgery, so after I lose 10 kg, I'll write another update. (I heard that if you gain weight, it comes back.)
