I live in a provincial area, so I only searched online and thought it looked okay, so I had a brief remote consultation and booked the surgery for the same day. Since it was my first surgery, I was nervous and wanted to ask about a lot of things during the consultation, but the doctor seemed really busy, and the consultation was minimized before going straight into surgery. That part was a little disappointing. Still, there is no scar and it seems to have turned out reasonably well.
