The hospital facilities are good and the waiting room is separated, which is nice. I went on a weekday during the day, so the wait wasn’t very long. This was the first place that told me, when using autologous rib cartilage, that there was no need to remove stitches. I guess it’s because they use dissolvable sutures. They said that if a scar forms where the autologous rib cartilage is used, scar laser would be free. They also told me in advance that the surgery would be under sedation anesthesia and that CCTV viewing would be possible, which put me at ease. Unlike other hospitals, they emphasized a 3-year warranty. But the doctor here also seemed a little busy and in a hurry. Rather than explaining how the surgery would proceed, they were very confident and said it would turn out pretty. The consultation manager was also extremely kind and said it would go very well. But both the doctor and the manager left me feeling good while also making me uneasy because they didn’t explain things in detail. They asked me to pay a deposit, and said that if I mentioned it at least a week in advance it would be fully refundable, so I put it down for now, but I’m still unsure and thinking it over. The thing where they reconstruct the nose after surgery and show it to you seems to be different from other hospitals, but honestly it wasn’t that helpful because the reconstruction from the face itself was quite awkward.
