I had cheekbone reduction here last February. It seems like the hospital is gone now, but this was a place where I was lucky enough to get surgery, so I’m leaving a late review. The director had said at the time that he wouldn’t be able to operate for a while because his wrist was not in good condition, and I even wondered if that was why the hospital closed. I didn’t do the full three-procedure set, only the cheekbones. He said my face didn’t need all three procedures. He also said the chin tip could be done if I wanted, but since it was a part that could be improved with fillers instead of shaving bone, he seemed to counsel me to avoid anything unnecessary as much as possible. Looking back now, I think that was really fortunate. It’s exactly one year later, and when I look at my face now, I’m glad I didn’t do anything unnecessary because I have no sagging or other side effects at all. The surgery time was also extremely short compared to other reviews, so there was almost no pain. It was never the kind of pain that kept me from sleeping, and I slept and ate well. At first, honestly, no one around me could tell that I had had cheekbone reduction, and even I could only feel it slightly when I looked in the mirror, so I was a little disappointed. But it really was true that swelling keeps going down for about a year, because lately I keep catching myself looking at my face and suddenly feeling that it really has gotten smaller. I guess you really have to wait a full year. At first the effect was so minor that I also wished it had been more dramatic like other three-procedure reviews, but now, a year later, I’ve realized that cheekbone surgery is the kind of operation where the more greed you have, the more you stand to lose. Of course, that may depend on the person.. After the cheekbone surgery, I had no issues, so I stayed away from this community for a year. Recently I’ve been coming back often to look into other surgeries, and after reading posts about side effects, I really think it was good that I didn’t go overboard. I feel like having it done here was truly the right choice, and if I were in the same situation again, I’d probably get surgery here again. Even after the operation, it’s not common to be able to go see the director even before opening hours if you want to meet him. By now, writing this review probably won’t help the hospital with promotion since it’s gone, but I wanted to leave it anyway in case there are people looking into cheekbone reduction who don’t get fooled by flashy reviews covered in ads or by doctors and managers making overly confident claims. Cheekbone surgery is an operation that deals with bone, and compared with the eyes or nose, I think there is much more to lose if it goes wrong. So I hope everyone researches carefully and gets surgery at a trustworthy place. I wish success to everyone.
