I had a consultation around June 2024. Original eye condition: no canthoplasty, with a history of double-eyelid surgery by partial incision. Nose: primary surgery. Even though I had an appointment, I waited for a long time. The doctor was kind, but this was the only one of the three clinics I visited that said posterior canthoplasty was not possible, and they said my septum was too small to use. They also said my eyes should not have a crease beyond a certain number of millimeters and that I should have about the average crease for a Korean person. I liked how safely and cautiously they approached things, but it also felt conservative. The consultation with the manager afterward was the worst of the worst. I had never asked for a discount, but they started worrying about my money, so I jokingly said that my money was not an issue, meaning the result mattered more. I do not know why, but from that point they became visibly displeased and gave an insincere consultation. At the end, they did not even give me a business card or a paper explaining the surgery. The price was a little over 10 million won for double-eyelid surgery plus upper and lower canthoplasty, nasal bridge and tip surgery with autologous costal cartilage, hump reduction, and perhaps alar reduction. Because of the manager's attitude, I immediately decided I absolutely should not have surgery there and passed. I had it done elsewhere, where they said posterior canthoplasty was possible and confidently told me my eyes would look amazing with a glamorous crease and would not develop a sausage-like appearance no matter how the double eyelid was done. I asked them to do it that way, and it turned out extremely well. Now everywhere I go, people tell me my eyes are pretty.
