I booked an appointment without giving it much thought (probably because it was a place that performs chin advancement), and since I went without thinking much, I did not have high expectations. But the doctor seemed much more cheerful and intelligent than I expected, which put me in a good mood. Although I felt the need for chin advancement, I did not really understand the surgical methods or their effects on my face, so I was glad that they explained those aspects fairly well. (At another plastic-surgery clinic that discouraged chin advancement, they explained why in a somehow uncle-like way. I cannot really describe that feeling except to say it felt uncle-like, anyway.) They also explained L-shaped osteotomy and superior repositioning clearly and without exaggeration.
