During the consultation, they designed the procedure while looking at my face and CT scan together. In my case, the chin tip was set far back and was short. They said that if they only reduced the square jaw with a long curve, the jawline might become round and blend in, so they also recommended chin advancement. Overall, I felt that they assessed the balance of my face very well during the consultation. They also recommended double-chin liposuction, but did not pressure me. Since I thought it would be better to do it together, I had square-jaw surgery, chin-tip surgery, and double-chin liposuction. What I notice most after surgery is that the balance of my lower face has been properly corrected. My mouth also looks less protruding, and my friends say my features look much more defined and that my face shape has been well refined. This was a surgery I had deliberated over hundreds of times, but now I feel I made the right decision by doing it.
