I had been stressed about my naturally low nose, so I underwent male rhinoplasty. Worried about implant side effects, I wanted an implant-free procedure, and after consultation decided to use donor rib cartilage to firmly support the tip and define the nasal line. There was swelling at first, but over time a clean, straight line developed nicely. With the columellar support firmly built using donor rib cartilage, the shape has remained very satisfactory without the tip drooping. I hope this helps anyone considering rhinoplasty. The manager was kind, and the surgeon has a good aesthetic sense.
