This surgery was done a long time ago. My chin was somewhat protruding and long. They reduced the length with a sandwich osteotomy and moved it slightly backward. It was better than before, of course, but because it was an osteotomy rather than a resection, I do feel disappointed that there were limits to how much the length could be reduced. The staff were kind, and the doctor had a decent aesthetic sense. During the consultation, the director looked at my face and pointed out the flaws one by one, and it seemed like he had a good eye. Anyway, for a case like mine where the chin length needs to be reduced a lot, I think a resection procedure like T-osteotomy would be more appropriate than osteotomy. Does this hospital only do osteotomy?
