I spent about 5 months diligently doing my research online and in person before deciding on a revision. I had previously done only the tip of my nose without implants, but it gradually sagged and the bridge looked too low from certain side angles, which I was unhappy with, so I focused my consultations on that. As soon as I went in to see the director, they apologized for making me wait. I hadn’t waited even 30 minutes, but at another clinic I had to wait 2 hours past my appointment time for a consultation I felt like they were genuinely treating patients well here They immediately picked up on the tip drooping like a hooked nose when I smiled, the low bridge, and the acute nasolabial angle that made me look like I had protruding lips, and explained in detail that it was due to a specific muscle and how they would operate, which made me trust them. I also liked that they finished the tip with a rounded feel, and that overall aesthetic matched me well, so I got a strong impression. The consultation manager was also very considerate, telling me to think it over after consulting other hospitals first. So I went to another clinic I had been considering for comparison, and then I was sure this was the place that felt right, so I booked the surgery date right away. The fact that they do two surgeries a day and provide a tablet to show the guardian the CCTV feed in real time, and that you can check your progress with the director every time after surgery, also played a big part in my decision Before surgery, I met the director, went over the design I wanted and exactly which materials and methods would be used, then went into surgery. After shaving my nose hairs and disinfecting, I was so cold that I was just thinking I really hoped they would put me under soon, and then the director came in, said hello, and anesthesia started. When I opened my eyes, I was lying in the recovery room.. Even after surgery, whenever I had an appointment and went to the hospital, I was taken in with almost no waiting and received treatment. The director came in, reviewed my progress, and gave clear treatment even for ambiguous wounds, so I kept thinking I was really glad I had the surgery with this director. The autologous costal cartilage incision site may differ from person to person, but mine was smaller than I expected, so I’m planning to manage it with scar ointment! After the first splint came off, I worried a lot that they might have overcorrected because the line looked too upturned like a traditional Korean arrow-bridge nose, but after about 2 weeks the swelling kept going down and the line I wanted appeared. It was exactly the same as the Photoshop line the director showed me during consultation so accurate.. I wanted improvement from the front as well as the side, and that slightly pinched-nose feeling also improved. As the glabella and bridge came up, my T-zone definitely became more defined, and I really like it Of course the nose itself can’t become dramatically smaller and thinner, but with the tip lifted it looks a little smaller? Still, if it had been a tiny, slender shape, I don’t think it would have suited my face at all because my face is a bit round.. From the side, correcting the nasolabial angle made my mouth, which looked protrusive because the angle was too narrow, look more recessed, and my overall side profile is harmonious, so I’m satisfied. Since it was a revision, I also wanted something more glamorous, but the director talked me out of it, and when I said I wanted the highest possible height while still keeping a natural feel, I got exactly a refined line that wasn’t excessive. If I had gotten greedier, it would have looked like obvious plastic surgery and been unnatural. My smile still feels a little awkward and my philtrum is still a bit tight, but it keeps improving, so I’m trusting it and waiting instead of forcing it I got a lot of stress from visiting clinics in person, but now I feel like that was the result of going through all that stress, doing my research, and choosing the clinic I really liked.
