The consultation felt like a frank, easygoing older-professor type who gives you straight-up feedback. He was sharp about what is and isn't possible, what is and isn't needed, and his clear diagnosis showed experience and seasoned skill. He wasn't super sweet or overly polite, but he was still fairly approachable. He gave the impression that he wouldn't just leave you hanging after surgery. I ended up getting surgery at another place that I was more drawn to, but this was a hospital I had a good impression of, so I was disappointed to hear it closed.
